OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Global Child Care Services is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who have oversight of the strategic direction of the agency and ensure its sound financial management and broad policy direction. The board ensures the agency meets all its legal and legislative responsibilities, including but not limited to its obligations as a non-profit corporation, as an employer and with respect to the child care licences it holds under the Child Care and Early Years Act. The Executive Director of Global Child Care Services is directly accountable to its Board of Directors.

 

Global Child Care Services’ board is primarily comprised of current and former parent-clients of programs across the agency, each bringing to the board table a variety of professional backgrounds and skill sets, but all committed to providing every available support to management and staff in delivering the highest quality of programming and service to children and families.
